All our production processes are designed to minimise our impact on the environment. That’s why we are 100% transparent with our process and where our materials are sourced.

We aim to have the smallest possible footprint on our environment and have a positive impact on the workers throughout our whole manufacturing process.

ORGANIC BAMBOO

One of the fastest growing natural resources on the planet.

Swole Panda uses Tanboocell branded Bamboo which is 100% organically grown in the Jiangxi Province of China without the use of any pesticides and is FSC grown and certified.

The production of Swole Panda Bamboo does not contribute to natural habitat loss or destruction.

REPREVE®

Made from recycled plastic bottles, recovered from the ocean

REPREVE® is the world’s number one brand of recycled performance fibre. These high-quality fibres are made from 100% recycled materials, including post-consumer plastic bottles and pre-consumer waste. They are also certified and traceable.

We use the REPREVE® brand to foster a sustainable world by diverting plastic bottles—billions of them—from landfills and oceans. Compared to virgin fiber, REPREVE® helps to offset the use of petroleum, emitting fewer greenhouse gases and conserving water and energy in the process.

REFIBRA™

Made from the upcycling of cotton scraps from previous production.

Swole Panda is leading the way in sustainable fashion using the pioneering REFIBRA™ technology.

We are proud to be one of the first companies to use TENCEL™ Lyocell fibres with REFIBRA™, upcycling cotton scraps from previous garment production. These cotton scraps are transformed into cotton pulp.

A substantial proportion – up to one third – of this is added to wood pulp, and the combined raw material is transformed to produce new virgin TENCEL™ Lyocell fibres creating incredibly soft, breathable and sustainable clothing.

TENCEL™ LYOCELL

Fabric made from sustainably sourced eucalyptus which are FSC & PEFC certified.

Known for their natural comfort, TENCEL™ Lyocell fibres are versatile and can be combined with a wide range of textile fibres such as cotton, polyester, acrylic, wool, and silk to enhance the aesthetics and functionality of fabrics.

Unique physical properties of TENCEL™ Lyocell fibres lead to their great strength, efficient moisture absorption and gentleness to skin.

CARBON NEUTRAL

We are a carbon neutral business.

All of our carbon offsetting projects are verified to the highest standards via the four largest Carbon Certifications in the world - the Verified Carbon Standard (VCS), Gold Standard Voluntary Emission Reductions (VER), UK and EU Emissions Trading Standard (EU + UK ETS), and the United Nations Certified Emission Reductions (CER) programmes.

Regulated, verified and third party audited, the international carbon credits that we use are exactly the same credits as those used by multinational organisations, and even countries in their emission reduction schemes around the world - so you can be confident you are supporting vital projects, with accurate emissions reductions.

SUSTAINABLE OPERATIONS

A pioneering new sustainable woodland headquarters.

So many brands talk the talk without walking the walk when it comes to business operations. Here at Swole Panda, we were looking for a new and exciting chapter to embody our ethos of bringing sustainable accessories and clothing to the market. The solution is Flimwell Park.

A new 46 acres development of self-sufficient office and visitor facilities. Situated in the beautiful High Weald on the Kent/East Sussex border.

BIODEGRADABLE PACKAGING

All our packaging is now 100% biodegradable.

As the world’s population explodes, and consumerism drives more manufacturing and distribution of products, the amount of waste in oceans and landfills worldwide continues to rise.

There is no one solution to the eco-crisis. It demands a multi-pronged approach, and biodegradable packaging is one essential tactic among several that will save our planet.

There is an urgent need for a healthier, smarter, and natural packaging solution that can accommodate contemporary consumer needs while keeping our planet safe. That solution is biodegradable packaging.
